Reaching out for help can be difficult. It is a deeply personal experience that can come with feelings of vulnerability and uncertainty. I want to commend you for getting to this point. Life can be overwhelming at times. You may feel like it comes at you from all angles and that you cannot catch a break or, that what used to help is no longer effective. Let me assure you that you are not alone, these feelings are more common than you think! I offer evidence-based therapy that has brought on desired change into the lives of many adults who have committed to engaging in therapy. During your journey toward healing, I will listen to your story. We will identify skills and tools to help you effectively manage and reduce current distress. We will also identify underlying patterns that may be at the source of your distress, in order to bring about lasting change.
I adopt a humanistic approach to therapy and support clients in being their true selves so that they can lead fulfilling lives. I utilize approaches that will increase your sense of well-being and shift the way you think and feel, through techniques rooted in psycho-dynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy.
